Today we programed the robot chassis with Mecanum wheel motion. There were some struggles with screws falling off and the code driving the robot backward…or with only two wheel drive…or without sideways motion. By the end of our meeting however, we had Mecanum motion and all the screws were staying on. Everyone who was able to come had a chance to drive the robot. Next week Noah, Sarah, and Brandon (The Programers) will make profiles for all the coaches and team members. James, Maegan, Elliot, and Emmy (The Mechanics) will build an arm. Everyone will decide the name of the robot.
